Overview

In this role you support EUCOM DoD objectives from Stuttgart, deploying and maintaining Windows desktop environments and IT services. You will manage incidents end-to-end, provide remote and on-site assistance, and contribute to knowledgebases and standardization efforts. The position balances hands-on desktop support with collaboration across teams to resolve complex issues and ensure service levels are met. A TS/SCI clearance and travel to Europe are required, offering meaningful work serving national defense.

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • Collect and track incidents and requests from identification to resolution
  • Triage, research, and resolve basic incidents related to software and infrastructure
  • Escalate to product lines or specialists when needed; maintain SLA adherence
  • Document resolutions and update knowledge bases and self-help resources
  • Provide remote/onsite support for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Mentor/train other Computer Support Administrators when required
  • Provision and maintain mobile devices and support multiple devices/configurations
  • Configure and troubleshoot infrastructure services (FTP, IIS, DNS, DHCP, GPOs) and Windows 10 Enterprise systems
  • Coordinate hardware/software installation, data migration, and vendor communications
  • Create technical documentation and support for dispersed Windows networks and ensure timely equipment readiness
  • Travel to DoD customer sites; ensure secure, business-like communication with clients and users

Zentrale Anforderungen

  • Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • BA/BS + 3 years of specialized experience or AA/AS + 7 years specialized or major cert + 7 years specialized or 11 years total experience
  • Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
  • CompTIA Security+ (IAT II or greater)
