Overview
In this role you will design and run enterprise-grade Linux environments, advancing automation and IaC to support secure, scalable operations. You’ll partner with DevOps and development teams to strengthen CI/CD pipelines and automate platform management. You’ll tackle containerized workloads, security hardening, and incident response at scale, leveraging AI-assisted tooling to accelerate tasks. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Manage and maintain high-availability Enterprise Linux servers across production and non-production environments
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventories for configuration management and patch automation
- Deploy and troubleshoot Docker and Kubernetes workloads
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and AWX/Ansible Automation Platform
- Create modular IaC templates to provision reproducible system architectures
- Develop Python and Bash automation scripts for monitoring, diagnostics, and operations
- Integrate Agentic AI assistants and LLM-driven tooling for automation and incident resolution
- Maintain Git-based workflows and code collaboration practices
- Implement CIS benchmarks, SELinux, RBAC, patch management, and vulnerability remediation
- Participate in on-call rotations, capacity planning, and disaster recovery drills
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Active Secret clearance (ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI)
- US Citizenship
- 5+ years of hands-on Enterprise Linux Administration (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu Server)
- Extensive experience with Ansible at scale
- Experience deploying Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Proficient in Python and Bash for automation
- Experience with Git-based workflows (GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Ansible workflows)
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, OpenTofu, CloudFormation)
- Experience integrating AI tooling for Linux administration and diagnostics
