Overview
In this role you design, build, and operate enterprise and data center networks for DoD EUCOM, including security layers. You will lead troubleshooting and optimization across multiple, geographically dispersed enclaves while coordinating with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders. The position offers growth through exposure to emerging technologies and a renewal of DoD network capabilities in a high-stakes, mission-focused environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Engineer, build, operate and maintain enterprise and data center networks from endpoint to security stack
- Design complex routing and switching schemes for multiple enclaves
- Troubleshoot complex network issues to resolution and provide on-site/remote support
- Configure devices per security policies; manage IP addressing and circuit provisioning
- Monitor capacity, perform capacity planning and traffic analysis
- Perform site surveys, installation planning and documentation for network services
- Assist with network protocols, traffic patterns, and data flow assessments; recommend upgrades
- Collaborate with network engineers, system admins and voice engineers across dispersed networks
- Interface with internal and external leadership to communicate solutions and status
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Current Top Secret / SCI clearance
- BA/BS + 3 years of specialized experience OR AA/AS + 7 years OR a major certification + 7 years OR 11 years of relevant experience
- Extensive operational experience maintaining network infrastructure
- Microsoft Office Suite knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- DoD IAT Level II or greater
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (minimum)
- Enterprise level experience in network security infrastructures
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Interpersonal skills for interaction with managers, clients, and users with varying technical backgrounds
- Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
- Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls; load balancers; in-line network encryption devices
- DMVPN technologies; EIGRP and BGP
- Data center architectures; network automation
