Overview
As a Cloud Data Scientist for SOCEUR, you will extract actionable insights from diverse datasets to support Allied, partner, and US operations. You will build and validate predictive models in a secure, multi-level cloud environment, collaborating with engineers and mission stakeholders. Your work will influence decision-making through clear, technically rigorous analyses and responsible AI practices. This role offers impact at scale within a critical defense program and opportunities to shape analytics in a coalition context.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends and actionable insights for mission requirements
- Prototype, validate, and refine ML and statistical models for predictive analysis, pattern recognition, and anomaly detection
- Cleanse and transform heterogeneous data from multiple sources for reliable analysis
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineering to deploy validated models and document performance metrics
- Engage with data stewards and data integrators on data lineage, quality, and releasability in coalition datasets
- Present technical findings and strategic recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Uphold Responsible AI principles, including bias detection, explainability, and fairness
Zentrale Anforderungen
- US Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline
- DoD -M / DoD 8140 IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
- 5+ years of data science or quantitative analysis experience
- Advanced Python and SQL proficiency
- Deep expertise with Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, and TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience developing and validating predictive models on real-world data
- Ability to work independently and communicate complex findings to senior leadership
- TensorFlow Developer Certificate or equivalent ML framework expertise
