Overview
In this role you will help advance national security by planning and synchronizing Defense Deception Activities (DDA) across joint and interagency environments. You will align deception initiatives with campaign objectives and coordinate across intelligence, information operations, and targeting to maximize operational impact. You’ll design executable planning products, monitor outcomes with metrics, and ensure compliant, secure information handling. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Synchronize DDA with campaign and operational objectives
- Integrate DDA planning across joint, component, and functional staffs
- Coordinate with Information Forces and information capabilities (OPSEC, PSYOP, Cyberspace Ops, EW) to integrate deception effects
- Monitor DDA outcomes using MOPs and MOEs and inform decisions
- Design and refine DDA annexes and planning products into executable guidance
- Ensure DDA information systems and data handling comply with DoD security standards
- Facilitate secure coordination with interagency, allies, partners, industry, and academics
- Conduct periodic reviews to assess effectiveness, compliance, and risk and propose adjustments
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Current TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor in a relevant field such as Strategic Communications, International Relations, Political Science, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Military Science or similar
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Military Deception, OPSEC, sensitive activities, IW, SOF operations, and national-level policies
- 7+ years of experience with military planning processes (JPP, military decision-making process, joint targeting, or campaign planning)
- Completion of Joint Military Deception Training Course, Army MILDEC Planner Course, Joint OPSEC Course, Joint Information Planners Course, Army FA 30 Qualification Course, or related training
- Experience with Operational to Strategic level planning with CCMD, Service Component Command, JTF staff
- Knowledge of CAP/SAP/ACCM programs, Joint Doctrine, and Defense Deception concepts
