Overview:

AFAF Senior Site Manager (SSM) supports Air Forces Africa (AFAF) located at Ramstein AB, Germany, with travel to the African continent. The SSM will support all AFAF ELITE personnel and activities in Djibouti (Camp Lemonnier & Chabelley Airfield), Manda Bay, Kenya, Ramstein AB, Germany, and future AFAF locations in the AFRICOM AOR. The role requires strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with comfort interfacing with external and internal leaders up to the Brigadier General/GS-15 level.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, perform, and complete projects, tasks, or delivery orders as part of the ELITE program for AFAF, covering all project management and engineering areas from initiation to closeout.
• Report directly to the ELITE PM chain of command and act as a liaison among GSA AAS, AFRICOM, and CJTF-HOA.
• Manage activities, control accounts, and tasks within projects or programs, including profit and loss responsibilities where applicable.
• Organize, direct, and manage contract support functions involving complex project tasks, overseeing teams across multiple locations.
• Maintain client interfaces at senior levels, meet stakeholder expectations, and ensure conformance with schedules and budgets.
• Develop and maintain technical and financial reports, delegate responsibilities, and oversee task completion.
• Serve as the government’s central point of contact for operational activities, providing technical guidance and supervision for contractor personnel.
• Lead staffing actions, procurement, logistics, and manage service delivery performance through SLAs and KPIs.
• Develop briefings, prepare reports, and oversee program performance and customer service excellence.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, PMP certification, and 10+ years of project management experience, including 3 years in IT project management.
• US citizenship with active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Proven skills in manpower utilization, procurement, problem resolution, and employee relations.
• C4 experience in a military headquarters or command center environment, supervising DoD C4 operations involving software development and systems integration.

Pay Range:

The salary range is $86,800 to $191,000, influenced by factors such as location, experience, skills, and certifications. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, and educational support.
