We are in search for full‑time instructors that are ready to take their existing experience as an aviation professional and transform their skills and knowledge into a world‑class Synthetic Flight & Ground School Instructor and subject‑matter expert. In the Synthetic Flight & Ground School Instructor role, you will have the opportunity to lead clients through their training – all with the added benefit of spending less time traveling for work.
Synthetic Flight & Ground School Instructors will work alongside our client partners, providing expert Synthetic Flight instruction. In addition, some classroom‑based instruction will be required, and you will be responsible for the upkeep of accurate and concise trainee records. You will also get to work with top‑of‑the‑range equipment and the very latest aircraft technologies.
Primary Responsibilities
Assuring the quality delivery of client training according to qualification including classroom systems and performance ground school and in‑simulator pilot training
Monitoring and assuring compliance to all authorizations and qualifications
Strive to increase Instructor qualifications, as required by the program
Conduct quality pre and post flight briefings
Suggest changes to curriculum and courseware materials to enhance the clients’ experience
Assist the Lead with duties, when requested
Assure all paperwork/electronic records are completed accurately and in a timely manner
On occasions, you will be required to provide single clients with seat support
You will be expected to deliver portions of initial and recurrent ground school
Any other duties, as assigned by the Training Manager

High‑performance aircraft and instructional experience
Skilled in mentoring and developing industry colleagues
Qualifications
EASA licence required.
1500 hours or more total multi‑pilot time (please mention if you have 500hrs or more SP hours)
Previous instructional experience ideal but not required - CFI, SFI or SFE
Must read, speak, and converse in English at a high level
A keen eye for detail in training delivery – you must be willing to maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with CAE policy and requirements
Ability to tailor training sessions to the needs of a diverse customer base
Basic computer proficiency – Microsoft Office and other internet‑based programs
Flexibility to commit to a full‑time work pattern
Must live in commutable distance to the Training Centre in Schwechat
The right to live and work in Austria is desirable
Prepared to spend a period of time outside of Austria to undertake initial type and SFI ratings
Excellent interpersonal skills
Continuously drives toward process improvement and customer/client satisfaction
Ability to focus and work in a fast‑paced 24/7 environment
Readily accepts change and adjusts accordingly
Maintains concentrated customer/client orientation
