The role

As a Product Engineer at calliora, you don't just write code, you build.

You take a real problem and turn it into something that ships.

You build the platform that lifts the manual work off the hospital: the agents that carry a case end to end, the infrastructure they run on, and the product clinicians and administrators actually use.

The agents do the work themselves, with full context and without waiting for anyone to log in, not a copilot sitting beside someone clicking through screens.

We work fast and hands‑on, but what we ship runs in hospitals, one of the most regulated environments there is.

Speed is how we find the right product.

• Examples of what you might ship
• An eval harness that regression‑tests every prompt and model change against golden cases before it ships
• The abstention logic that decides when an agent acts on its own and when it stops and asks a human
• A replay layer that makes agent runs deterministic, so you can debug a bad case exactly as it happened
• Your Responsibilities
• Building, not just coding: owning a problem from the first conversation about it through prototype to running in production.
• Developing the agents that carry cases through real clinical‑administrative workflows, and the infrastructure they run on.
• Building the product that clinicians and administrators touch every day.
• Prototyping quickly and iterating together; we don't write specs and hand them off, the best version becomes the product.
• Shipping at production quality for a regulated environment: tested, observable, secure.
• Talking to the people who use what you develop and turning what you learn into product decisions.

• Excellent engineering, from blank file to working product, cleanly and fast. Testing, observability, and security are not afterthoughts for you.
• You push the frontier, in the product you build and in how you build it. When a new capability shows up, you’re already using it.
• Comfort across the stack: frontend, backend, infrastructure, ML.

You’ve proven you can work in several of these and pick up the rest fast.
