We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our Infrastructure & Renewable Energy team in EMEA.

This is an important role within the sales organisation, supporting customers and partners throughout the sales process and ensuring that quotations, orders, customer enquiries and internal processes are handled efficiently and professionally.

The Role

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will work closely with customers, partners and colleagues across the business to support the successful delivery of sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to order fulfilment.

You will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive a responsive, professional and technically informed service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and respond to customer and partner enquiries, providing timely and professional support.

Prepare, issue and follow up on quotations for Campbell Scientific products and solutions.

Process and coordinate customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely progression.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and channel partners.

Support the sales team in developing new business opportunities and identifying potential follow-up sales.

Work closely with internal teams including production, logistics, finance, customer service and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of customer requirements.

Coordinate with customers and partners to resolve order, delivery and product-related queries.

Maintain accurate customer, quotation and sales information within CRM, ERP and other company systems.

Ensure sales documentation, pricing and customer records are accurate and maintained in accordance with company procedures.

Support sales forecasting, reporting and pipeline management as required.

Assist with the organisation and logistics of customer meetings, workshops, exhibitions, conferences and partner events.

Develop an understanding of Campbell Scientific's measurement and monitoring solutions and their applications within infrastructure and renewable energy.

Work collaboratively with field sales and technical colleagues to support customers throughout the sales cycle.

Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and customer experience.

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and enjoys working with customers and technical products.

You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working across different teams and taking ownership of customer requirements from enquiry through to completion.

Essential Skills and Experience

Previous experience in inside sales, sales administration, sales coordination, customer service or a similar commercial role.

Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple quotations, orders and customer enquiries simultaneously.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Confident working with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

Experience using CRM, ERP or other business systems.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments and countries.

A willingness and ability to develop technical knowledge of measurement, monitoring and data acquisition systems.

A proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership and follow tasks through to completion.

Experience working within a technical, engineering, scientific, infrastructure or renewable energy environment.

Experience in technical sales or sales support.

Experience working with distributors, resellers or international customers.

Knowledge of measurement and monitoring technologies, data acquisition or instrumentation.

A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, environmental science, renewable energy, physical sciences or another relevant technical discipline.

3–5 years' experience in technical sales, inside sales or sales coordination.

Fluency in German is highly desirable. Additional European languages such as French or Spanish would also be an advantage.
