What you'll be doing:
As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper recognition of revenue, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic insights into revenue-related matters. You will work closely with the finance team, sales, legal, and other departments to support our revenue recognition processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and oversee the revenue recognition process in accordance with IFRS 15
- Review and analyze complex sales contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment
- Collaborate closely with Revenue Operations and Deal Desk to harmonize data between SalesForce and NetSuite, ensuring accurate opportunity tracking and seamless sales order management
- Support Revenue Operations in all accounting aspects of customer onboarding, including background checks and legal documentation
- Drive the preparation of comprehensive revenue analysis and reconciliations for month-end and quarter-end closes
- Develop and present regular reports, offering valuable insights to management regarding order status, revenue recognition, and payment trends
- Assist in external audits by providing documentation and explanations related to revenue recognition
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve systems and processes related to revenue accounting
- Conduct regular reviews of revenue-related documentation for accuracy, completion, and compliance
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Support on ad-hoc projects
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulation to ensure compliance
This is a remote role and can be based anywhere where we are eligible to hire.
What you bring:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
- Big 4 audit experience or industry experience in a group function
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Software industry experience preferred but not essential
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Problem solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines
- Ability and/or willingness to use our product

What We Have to Offer:
Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camunda located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camunda in our entities is as follows:
- United States: $98,000 to $146,900
- Germany: €65,200 to €97,700
- United Kingdom: £63,500 to £95,200
- Singapore: S$121,700 to S$182,500
