Your job as Team Lead Strategic Procurement
As Team Lead Strategic Procurement, your main responsibilities are:
- You are functionally responsible for about 15 procurement professionals (Procurement Account Managers and procurement project purchasers).
- You are part of this team and manage strategic suppliers yourself.
- You connect with multi-side stakeholders to realize the overall procurement goals (like cost down, supply base optimization, etc.).
- Continuously improve the global procurement processes.
- Contribute to mid and long-term procurement strategy development.
The location of this position is at Canon Production Printing in Poing (Germany).
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a solution-driven people manager who has a strong commercial orientation. You are an enthusiastic networker with the ability to maintain your internal and external network.
- Bachelor or Master\’s degree in procurement, supply chain, business administration, economics, or comparable.
- Approximately 5-10 years of experience in a similar procurement position.
- Ability to collaborate with others and convince internal and external stakeholders with sound arguments.
- Excellent level in English and German speaking and writing.
