THE ROLE

As a direct-to-consumer company, our e-commerce platform plays a crucial role in delivering our brand experience to our customers. In this context, Backend Developers (m/f/d) are an essential factor for our success and growth. Your focus will be on implementing our best-in-class solutions and helping us develop new features within a complex system landscape. You will be part of a team that is always looking for the best solution for our customers. When possible, we stick to the standard, use best practices to develop scalable and maintainable solutions. We work together on technical design, implementation and quality. Releases are our passion.

YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW

• Specification, development and testing of additional features and digital processes on Frontend- and Backend-Side
• Coordinate error analysis and troubleshooting within our complex Salesforce Commerce Cloud environment
• Take over the first and second level support
• Carry out the analysis of the support cases and derive necessary measures for permanent resolution
• Interface support and the further expansion of data exchange within our systems

HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE

• Degree in (technical) computer science, business informatics, a comparable field of study or an apprenticeship as an IT specialist

Special skills and knowledge:

• Very good German and English skills, written and spoken
• HTML, CSS, databases
• Design patterns such as MVC or MVVM

You are familiar with the following technologies:

• Frameworks like Require JS and NodeJS
• Common data exchange formats, such as e.g., JSON, XML and CSV
• Testing tools such as Selenium (test automation), UiPath, JUnit, Cypress

You have experience in using the following technologies:

• Git/Bitbucket
• Test description languages, such as Cucumber/Gherkin
• Design and development of cross-system processes
• Tools for development, release and deploy processes
