YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW
- Develop, implement and maintain Quality assurance processes for supplied material including incoming goods inspection plans to ensure material supplied to the assembly processes is in accordance with company and industry standards
- Validate the production approval to the supplier (PPAP/RFMP).
- Manage and coordinate supplier caused Quality issues incl. containment actions at Canyon assembly locations
- Raise complaint reports to suppliers, drive the 8D problem solving process at suppliers including execution of containment actions, analysis of root cause(s) and implementation of effective corrective actions
- Conduct product and process audits, if needed on site at the suppliers, to verify implementation and effectiveness of correction actions
- Document cost of low-Quality for supplier caused Quality issues and ensure cost recovery from respective suppliers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and provide training to suppliers on Quality assurance processes
- Establish supplier Quality KPIs for supplier evaluation and selection process
- Develop and maintain overall supplier Quality improvement plans
HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE
- You have successfully completed a technical degree in mechanical engineering, materials technology, industrial engineering or a comparable field of study
- You have professional experience in quality management, e.g. in complaints management, VDA maturity level process, AIAG APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, Six Sigma, lean management, etc.
- You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to teach basic problem-solving techniques and facilitate problem solving workshops
- You are detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
- You have a high willingness to perform and learn
- You are confident and familiar with the use of SAP (or comparable ERP or QA systems)
- You have a very good command of written and spoken English
- You are enthusiastic about our products and have a high affinity for cycling
- You have a high willingness to travel
- You can confidently use MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
