Overview
In this role you will safeguard software quality across testing activities for Capco’s financial services projects. You’ll build and maintain automated test suites, join cross-functional efforts to improve QA standards, and connect testing with CI/CD to support rapid delivery. You’ll work with modern tooling to validate functionality, performance, and reliability, driving measurable quality improvements. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Build, enhance, and support automated test scripts in Java using Cucumber BDD, Selenium, Playwright, and RestAssured
- Collaborate with software engineering and QA to assemble a resilient end-to-end automation suite
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD workflows (e.g., Jenkins) for continuous testing and deployment
- Plan and perform performance, load, and stress tests to validate scalability
- Contribute to peer code reviews and uplift test code quality
- Interpret test outcomes, produce reports, and improve coverage, traceability, and efficiency
- Monitor new testing tools and practices to improve the test lifecycle
- Prepare test cases and use TestOps and JIRA for test management
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Minimum seven years of experience in automated testing
- Advanced Java with Serenity BDD, Cucumber, and Gatling frameworks
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Gradle
- Proven background validating REST APIs and web services
- Experience with MQ and Kafka
- Knowledge of SQL, relational DBs, and Big Data environments
- Understanding of BDD and TDD with Cucumber or JBehave
- Delivery experience in Agile/Scrum teams
- Strong analytical, issue-resolution, and communication skills
