Job title: Value Creation Director / Senior Director (m/f/d)
Employment type: Full-time
Capmont is an entrepreneurial private capital investment manager with offices in Zurich, Munich, Warsaw and Luxembourg. The firm pursues two independent investment strategies: Private Equity and Technology.
In Private Equity, Capmont invests in companies headquartered in Europe, particularly in the DACH region and neighboring markets. With a portfolio of more than 35 holdings, Capmont currently manages assets of over EUR 1.5 billion.
As part of its Private Equity strategy, the team primarily invests in profitable small and mid-cap companies with potential for further organic and inorganic growth. As an active, operationally engaged investor, Capmont supports its portfolio companies with a dedicated, specialized Value Creation team - providing not only capital, but also operational and strategic expertise to realize profitable and sustainable growth.
Capmont Portfolio Partners is a cross-functional value creation team of experts and sits at the heart of Capmont's investment approach. Working side-by-side with our investment teams and the management of our portfolio companies, we identify, prioritize and realize sustainable operational value - sector agnostic and with an owner's mindset. We take independent responsibility for the key priorities and initiatives in our portfolio companies across the entire investment life cycle, from due diligence to exit. This offers high-performing candidates a unique opportunity to drive real operational change and create tangible value in a private equity environment.
The Role
Capmont Portfolio Partners is seeking senior operators to drive performance improvements across portfolio companies particularly in the DACH region, Northern Italy, and Poland. As Value Creation Director or Senior Director, you work directly with C-level teams to translate strategy into clear, executable plans, improve EBITDA and cash flow, accelerate growth, strengthen leadership alignment, and ensure disciplined execution. The role includes stepping into complex or underperforming situations to restore clarity, focus and momentum, and to create tangible operational impact across the portfolio.
Levels and focus
The role is open at two levels, with the final level determined based on the candidate's experience, particularly in P&L leadership and corporate carve-outs.
- Value Creation Director: typically 10+ years of experience; senior sparring partner to C-levels, leads value creation programs in several portfolio companies and guides project teams; P&L or carve-out experience is an advantage
- Senior Director: typically 15+ years of experience, including proven full P&L responsibility and a track record in corporate carve-outs; owns the value creation agenda for key assets, takes on board / interim roles where required and shapes CPP's methods and team
Responsibilities
- Act as trusted advisor and sparring partner to C-levels in our portfolio companies with revenues from EUR 50-500m
- Challenge assumptions constructively while building and maintaining strong working relationships
- Support leadership teams in defining priorities and making difficult trade-offs
- Strengthen management alignment and decision-making discipline
Operational Value Creation

Execution & Implementation

- Help stabilize organizations during periods of rapid growth or transformation
- Provide hands-on support in restructuring or repositioning scenarios, including interim management roles where required

Collaboration with Investment Teams
- Work closely with Capmont's deal teams to ensure alignment between investment objectives and operational initiatives
- Provide operational input during acquisition and exit preparation phases
- Contribute to a fact-based, performance-oriented governance dialogue
- Lead and develop Value Creation project teams (Analyst to Vice President level)
- Contribute to the continued development of Capmont's Value Creation playbooks and tools
- Share best practices across the portfolio
- Build a structured yet pragmatic approach to operational excellence

- Full P&L responsibility and experience in managing / leading corporate carve-outs - required for Senior Director, advantageous for Director
