Your Role & Mission – You will be a key player in defining, developing, and refining our product to meet customer needs and drive the growth of our carbmee EIS platform. You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to execute the product roadmap, drive go-to-market strategies, and ensure successful product launches.

Your tasks

• Collaborate with Product Management to define AI-related product features and set development priorities aligned with our sustainability vision and customer needs.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI models and algorithms that power our carbon intelligence platform, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Continuously monitor model performance and iterate to improve accuracy and efficiency, ensuring best-in-class user experience.
• Work with our data engineering team to ensure data pipelines are robust, secure and capable of supporting AI-driven insights.
• Partner with UX/UI, marketing, and sales teams to translate AI features into user-centric functionality and communicate technical capabilities effectively.
• Establish testing protocols and governance processes, ensuring AI solutions adhere to data privacy and environmental compliance requirements.
• Stay current on advancements in AI and sustainability tech to champion innovation within carbmee\’s product offerings.

Your profile

• Proven experience in building and deploying AI based solutions, preferably within a SaaS context.
• Proficiency in Python, and optionally Javascript and Typescript, Rust or C++.
• Familiarity with cloud-based development (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical capabilities into user-friendly features.
• Experience working with product managers, ideally in a product-facing engineering role.
• Experience in agile environments, adept at sprint planning, scoping and story prioritization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to explain AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Passionate about sustainability, carbon reduction, and the power of technology to drive positive change.
