TEAM OVERVIEW

The Global Client Solutions Group (KCS) is KKR’s dedicated investor solutions team. KCS, formerly known as the Client and Partner Group, or CPG, was first formed in 2009 to invest in and focus on KKR’s relationships with current and potential investors. Today, KCS consists of over 200 executives located in 13 offices across four continents and in 10 countries. The KCS platform is primarily organized around two specialized focus areas: Sales/Relationship Management and Product/Strategy Management. KCS seeks to "connect the dots" across all businesses at KKR, from our Private Equity investing teams to Infrastructure, Real Estate, Credit, Capital Markets and Insurance-Funded Strategies, to deliver all of KKR’s intellectual capital and solutions to our investing partners. The group’s long-term objective is to diversify KKR’s client base to include new investors, across all regions and institution types, and to raise capital for the Firm’s expanding product platform through developing,
structuring and maintaining collaborative partnerships with our investors.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Global Client Solutions (KCS) team is looking for an intern to support the DACH Institutional and Family Capital teams‘ fundraising efforts across Private Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate and Credit. This role will be based in Frankfurt, Germany.

You will have the opportunity to experience working within a leading global investment firm that manages investments across alternative asset classes with a proven track record over the past few decades. The role would be to support the KCS team, which is responsible for fundraising various KKR-sponsored investment funds, vehicles and separate accounts to investors.

Start & Duration: starting in H2 2024 for 6-12 months

EXPERIENCE

A successful candidate typically will have 2-3 previous internships in the financial services industry

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in preparing sales, product pitching and client meeting materials at the direction of the respective DACH relationship managers to help facilitate client interactions
  • Coordinate responses to client due diligence requests/RFPs, including underlying portfolio statistics, marketing materials and presentation decks
  • Support in the organization of external and KKR investor events
  • Providing ongoing support to the KCS teams in connection with their response to ad-hoc requests from clients to ensure high servicing standards are maintained at all times
  • Learn the platform, products and investment strategies across asset classes
  • Work collaboratively with global internal teams – specifically: strategies teams, client services, the RFP team, and other global client solutions members to facilitate timely responses to client requests
  • Maintain information on the DACH budgets and pipeline and provide internal updates on the status of each of these clients/prospects

As with any growing, changing and evolving team, this individual will be expected to remain flexible and help support other key team initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German (hard requirement) and English
  • Strong support mindset, helping other team members to leverage their time more effectively
  • Solid multi-tasking skills with an ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external parties in a polished, professional manner
  • Demonstrated team player willing to contribute to the collaborative success of the broader team
  • Excellent work ethics, proactive attitude and the ability to prioritize
  • Attention to detail, highly organized, and commitment to excellence
  • Keen interest in global financial markets and alternative investments
  • Strong academic credentials & record of achievement
