pb(What the role is) /b /pWe are seeking a dynamic, motivated and experienced individual with strong analytical and communication skills to join the Commercial Arrangements (Cross Border Local Arrangements) team in Policy Division. The team plays a key role in formulating our land transport strategies and policies and spearheading new strategic initiatives. pb(What you will be working on) /b /ppWe are seeking a dynamic, motivated and experienced individual with strong analytical and communication skills to join the Commercial Arrangements (Cross Border Local Arrangements) team in Policy Division. The team plays a key role in formulating our land transport strategies and policies and spearheading new strategic initiatives. The team’s responsibilities include: /pullipFormulating commercial and regulatory policies for new rail projects in LTA, which includes the appointment of the operator for: (i) domestic rail lines, such as the Cross Island Line (CRL); and (ii) the Singapore Rail Test Centre (SRTC); and /p /lilipFormulating policies for the Johor-Bahru Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link and is responsible for driving bilateral engagement with Malaysia on the commercial front for the RTS Link project. /p /li /ul pAs part of the portfolio, you will be required to work closely with stakeholders in LTA, the Ministry of Transport and other agencies within the Singapore Government on the development and implementation of these projects. /p pYou will also be expected to lead individual work pieces or teams in coming up with these polices for domestic rail projects and cross-border work. /p pb(What we are looking for) /b /pullipKnowledge in any discipline, preferably in Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or Science / Social Science /p /lilipPossess the drive and resourcefulness to produce innovative solutions to address policy issues. /p /lilipAble to think critically, write concisely, and present clearly, with keen interest in analysis of economic trends and data /p /lilipHighly adaptable, able to work independently and under pressure to deliver within tight timelines, and multi-task in a dynamic environment /p /lilipExcellent written communication and interpersonal skills /p /lilipProficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel /p /lilipKnowledge or experience in finance or commercial procurement will be an advantage /p /li /ulppppp pAs part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment. /p /p /p /p /p /p
