For a pioneering leader in the Swiss IT services industry, we are seeking a visionary Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive sustainable growth with passion, strategic foresight, and a commitment to innovation.
Tasks
- Overall responsibility for Group Financial Reporting, KPI reporting, and the preparation of financial statements according to GAAP FER & Swiss Code of Obligations
- Collaborate with CFOs to drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning aligned with the group’s strategic objectives
- Required office presence in Delémont (and occasionally in Basel): a minimum of 2-3 days per week
- Manage cash pooling to optimize liquidity and oversee consolidated cash flow management and reporting
- Develop and implement a tax strategy to enhance the group’s tax position, mitigate financial risks, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Harmonize and optimize financial operations and internal control systems across all group companies
- Build strong relationships with banks to secure funding for future acquisitions and growth initiatives
- Support valuation and due diligence for acquisitions, including balance sheet, income statement, and risk assessments
- Work with external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- 10 years of professional experience, minimum 3 years in the role of CFO / Head of Finance or another senior position in the finance sector
- Extensive and significant experience in a similar role, applying accounting principles and financial reporting, ideally within Swiss GAAP FER and Swiss Obligations
- Empathetic leadership qualities, capable of uniting and motivating teams, coupled with a strategic foresight
- Proven expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) along with a strong understanding of Swiss regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in stakeholder management coupled with strategic, holistic thinking, and assertive approach
- Fluent in English, German or French is a strong asset
- Completed degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant qualification
