The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Asset Management professional who can transfer their commercial asset management skills and lead the strategic management and optimisation of residential investment portfolios on behalf of sophisticated investors. Acting as the primary interface between clients and the Property Management team, you will oversee portfolio performance, make informed decisions on behalf of clients, and ensure operational activities align with property budgets and broader investment objectives. You will be trusted to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, make confident decisions and drive outcomes on behalf of clients. Success in this role requires strong commercial judgement, initiative and the ability to anticipate issues before they arise. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a key role in shaping and growing the Portfolio Management function, with the opportunity to build and lead a dedicated team as the business expands. What You'll Be Doing Oversee the performance and optimisation of residential investment portfolios. Make informed decisions regarding leasing, maintenance, expenditure and portfolio matters within agreed authority levels. Act as the key liaison between clients and Property Managers. Identify operational inefficiencies and implement smarter, more effective ways of working. Identify risks, challenges and opportunities across client portfolios and proactively implement solutions. Review and guide maintenance, capital expenditure and asset performance decisions. Drive portfolio performance through strategic asset management and commercial decision‐making. Manage relationships with sophisticated investors and provide strategic oversight of their property portfolios. Leverage technology, AI and data‐driven insights to improve decision‐making and portfolio outcomes. Support the growth and future leadership of the Portfolio Management function.
