In this role , you will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives in the oncology portfolio, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth and market success. Your expertise in oncology and leadership will be essential to shaping the future of the business within the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the Development and Execution of Business Strategies: Craft and implement comprehensive commercial and strategic plans based on thorough market analysis, ensuring alignment with regional and global directives. Oversee the coordination of local teams to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Manage and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a high-performance environment that emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement. Encourage skill development and career growth.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Motivation: Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, inspiring engagement and ensuring a collaborative approach to achieving business objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring and Market Insights: Regularly analyze business performance data, identify emerging trends, and develop strategic recommendations to enhance market positioning and sales results.
  • Product Portfolio Oversight: Take ownership of product management activities, ensuring timely execution of marketing and commercial initiatives aligned with portfolio goals.
  • Customer Engagement & Commercial Excellence: Lead innovative omnichannel marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategies to maximize brand visibility and stakeholder interaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate efforts across sales, medical, market access, and other functions to ensure seamless strategy implementation and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Regional Contribution and Market Expertise: Share insights and best practices to support regional strategies, ensuring local market needs are effectively integrated into broader plans.
  • Compliance and Ethical Standards: Ensure all activities adhere to legal, regulatory, and corporate compliance standards, maintaining the highest levels of integrity.

Candidate Profile

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field. A relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • Professional Experience: At least five years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales, marketing, or related roles, with a proven track record in oncology, particularly in lung cancer.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the oncology landscape, healthcare environment, and pharmaceutical industry dynamics.
  • Digital & Omnichannel Marketing Skills: Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and multichannel engagement techniques to reach diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated experience leading teams, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to manage and coordinate projects across various functions such as sales, medical, and market access.
  • Project Management: Skilled in planning, executing, and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Personal Attributes: Strategic thinker with strong business acumen, high integrity, and results-oriented mindset. Adaptable, resilient, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communicator with influential skills, customer-focused, and team-oriented. Passionate about innovation, continuous learning, and motivating others.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and German is required; proficiency in French is advantageous.
