cargo.one is the premier digital platform enabling freight forwarders to search, compare, and book air freight capacities across multiple airlines. Our product, with an impressive NPS of +65, is beloved by thousands of freight forwarders worldwide. We are now expanding our commercial headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany, the heart of air cargo. We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our ambitious team.
As an (Jr/Mid) Account Executive , you will be responsible for managing a specific region and a portfolio of customers. Your primary goal will be to grow our customer base within your region. You will become an air cargo expert, fostering strong relationships with local freight forwarders and advising them on how to enhance productivity using cargo.one pro across their entire organization.

A snapshot of what you will be doing here:
- Take ownership of the growth in your region by selling cargo.one pro to local freight forwarder teams.
- Carry a quota and drive sales deals full-cycle, from initial call to demo to closing.
- Work with our product and marketing teams to both improve the product and local and global marketing campaigns to facilitate rapid expansion.
- Be the voice of freight forwarders in your region and work together with our product team to make sure our offering meets their needs.
- Represent cargo.one in your local region as an entrepreneurial ambassador.
- Build strong relationships with the local freight forwarders.
- Ensure our offerings are competitive and collaborate with local partners to provide the best customer experience.
We are looking for individuals with:
- At least 2 years of experience in a high-performance, fast-paced environment (sales experience is a plus but not required).
- An entrepreneurial drive with the ability to make decisions in challenging environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build relationships and trust quickly.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to thinking.
- Willingness to embrace uncertainty and display a high level of adaptability.
- Strong growth mentality and bias for action.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility regarding work location.
- Ability to learn and be open to accepting feedback, generously giving their own in return.
- Fluency in English and native proficiency in Italian.
Nice to haves:
- Experience in logistics and/or air freight is a plus.
- Fluency in any other European languages.
