Responsibilities Design and implement robust EDI and API integrations connecting internal platforms with global clients, partners and systems.
Orchestrate scalable data pipelines and optimise transactional, resilient data exchange.
Identify, test and implement AI/ML tools to accelerate mapping generation, format translation and automated error handling.
Lead integration projects from kick‑off to go‑live, collaborating with client IT teams for smooth onboardings.
Configure and manage state‑of‑the‑art integration platforms and middleware (Seeburger BIS, Lobster_data, Axway, IBM Sterling, Boomi or similar).
Qualifications
Education: degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable technical field, or strong affinity for IT and logistics/supply‑chain networks.
Professional experience in integration or software engineering; familiarity with database technologies (Maria DB, Postgre SQL) and data querying (SQL, XPath, Regex).
Data manipulation expertise: experience with CSV, flat files, XML, JSON and related cleansing, parsing and transformation.
REST API and integration standards: proficiency with RESTful architectures, JSON/XML web services, Open API/Swagger, YAML.
Secure integration concepts: OAuth, token‑based authentication, API gateway management.
Version control: Git, Bit Bucket or similar.
Soft skills: innovative attitude toward AI and automation, excellent communication, collaborative leadership and organisational skills.
Knowledge of standard EDI formats (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML, JSON, VDA) and protocols (AS2, OFTP2, SFTP, PEPPOL).
Mapped experience within enterprise middleware suites such as Seeburger BIS, Lobster_data, Axway, Boomi or equivalent.
Programming languages such as Java, Python or C#.
