YOUR TEAM
Our team is establishing the Sensor Development Department for the next generation of autonomous driving systems. You will collaborate with colleagues across different locations and departments. The Senior Hardware Engineer will play a critical role in the LIDAR project and serve as a trusted partner for all related topics.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Responsibility for the overall mechatronic setup of the LIDAR, focusing on sensor performance, reliability, and durability.
- Development of detailed integration and heat dissipation concepts.
- Review of production processes concerning repeatability, durability, and measures to meet sensor performance requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, validation reports, and manufacturing guidelines.
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains in hardware design, testing, and validation methodologies.
WHO YOU ARE
- Degree in Optoelectronics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar fields of study.
- Proven experience as a Hardware Engineer working with LIDAR technology, preferably in the automotive industry or related fields.
- Excellent knowledge of LIDAR technologies and qualification of hardware and point clouds, particularly in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electronics, hardware design principles, and embedded systems.
- Strong knowledge of optics and industrialization processes.
- Good understanding of production methods and analytical techniques.
