About the IT Department

The IT department of the Caritas Association for the Diocese of Regensburg consists of a team of 13 people and is responsible for all matters relating to information technology.

Our team handles electronic data processing for internal IT users and facilities of the Caritas Association for the Diocese of Regensburg.

Job Description

Network Administrator / IT Administrator (m/f/d)

This is a permanent, full-time position with 39.0 hours per week.

• Administration, maintenance, and documentation of Windows servers and clients
• Maintenance of the Active Directory and Microsoft Entra AD
• Administration, maintenance, and documentation of the Citrix landscape
• Collaboration and further development for the design, installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and optimization of the Windows and Citrix infrastructure
• Systematic and appropriate fault isolation including the creation of workarounds and solutions in the Windows and Citrix area, active collaboration in problem, change, and release management
• Supporting users in the event of hardware and software problems by telephone, remote maintenance (remote) or on-site
• Creation of documentation, such as system documentation, user manual, online help

Your Profile

We\’re looking for someone with:

• Preferably completed technical studies or comparable vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration
• Relevant professional experience in a comparable field of activity (planning, implementation, and operation of a Windows and Citrix infrastructure) is an advantage
• Professional experience in Windows Server, M365, Active Directory, and Entra AD desirable
• Communication skills, customer orientation, and problem-solving ability
• Empathetic and customer-friendly demeanor and strong communication skills
• Willingness to undergo further professional and technical training
• Identification with the tasks and goals of Caritas
