Enabler for smaller, more powerful, and energy-efficient microchips Working for tomorrow today. Around 80 percent of all microchips worldwide are produced using ZEISS technologies. As the centerpiece of every electronically controlled system, they have become an integral part of our everyday lives – whether in smartphones, smart homes or smart factories. ZEISS is a technology leader in the field of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. With high-precision lithography optics, photomask systems and process control solutions, ZEISS enables the production of ever smaller, increasingly powerful, and more energy-efficient microchips, and thus plays a pivotal role in the age of micro- and nanoelectronics.
Your role
- Learn, expand and optimize specific mechatronic, electronic and control-engineering concepts
- Contribute to the design and development of new systems
- Coordinate and document requirements with internal and adjacent specialist departments
- Define, delegate and independently develop solutions together with internal teams and external partners
- Integrate and verify developed solutions up to white-box level
- Support initial in-house commissioning and implement required changes at short notice
- Achieve series readiness and support the product life cycle in the event of technical issues
The position offers you the opportunity to contribute to highly precise mechatronic systems and apply your embedded software expertise in an interdisciplinary environment. You will accompany development from the initial concept through to series readiness and thus make a direct contribution to future-oriented lithography systems.
