Join a leading German mid-market private equity firm investing in growth companies across the DACH region. The team partners with founders and management teams of successful Mittelstand businesses to support their next phase of growth, combining hands-on investment work with close partner exposure.
What you will do:
- Work across the full investment cycle, from origination and screening through due diligence, execution and exit
- Build and review financial models and valuation analyses for new investments and portfolio companies
- Coordinate due diligence workstreams with external advisors, including legal, financial and commercial
- Prepare investment committee materials and present findings directly to the partners
- Support portfolio companies on value creation, add-on acquisitions and strategic initiatives
What you will need:
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking (M&A), strategy consulting or private equity
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently
- Native or near-native German and fluent English required
- A genuine interest in working with founder-led and family-owned businesses
