DevSecOps Engineer (all genders)

Maintain and improve our infrastructure with a focus on security using AWS best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Implement and manage security controls, tools, and technologies to safeguard our systems and data.

Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans, and ensure timely remediation of findings.

Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate security practices into the CI/CD pipeline.

Manage and secure our PostgreSQL and Redis databases, ensuring compliance with security best practices.

Provide support for infrastructure requirements, focusing on security needs for development teams.

Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.

Monitor and respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.

Work in a cross-functional Platform squad, contributing to the enhancement of our security posture.

Your profile

You come with demonstrated experience in computer networking, Linux administration, and cybersecurity practices.

You are proficient in shell scripting and one or more scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Go.

You have a solid understanding of load balancing, high availability, and security implications.

You have strong knowledge of security best practices and data privacy regulations.

You have extensive experience with Amazon Web Services, including security services and best practices.

You are experienced with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt.

You have hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in secure production environments.

You have strong mentoring skills, with the ability to transfer knowledge and document best practices for team clarity.

You have a solid understanding of CI/CD environments, role-based access protocols, and secure deployment pipelines.

You are experienced with monitoring tools, distributed tracing, and incident response for different development platforms.

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
