To support this digitalization step, we are looking for smart and experienced engineers to contribute and shape clever and creative solutions for a meaningful industry.Head of Platform Engineering (w/m)Pensum: 80-100%Start: immediately or by appointmentDuration: unlimitedLocation: Zurich area (Urdorf)Main TasksLead and develop the Platform Engineering team (approx. 8 people)Own the strategy, architecture and roadmap of our CDM Cloud Platform (Kubernetes)Ensure availability, reliability, security and scalability of the platformDrive automation, infrastructure as code and GitOps across the organizationFoster a strong engineering culture and mentor team membersCollaborate with development, security, operations and infrastructure leadership on cross-team initiativesManage budget, vendors and capacity planning for the platformRequirementsSeveral years of experience in platform/infrastructure engineering, including leadershipStrong technical background in Kubernetes, cloud-native architecture and automationProven ability to lead, grow and motivate engineering teamsStrategic mindset combined with hands-on technical credibilityExperience operating mission-critical systems in a regulated environment is a plusExcellent communication and stakeholder-management skillsFluent in English; German and French are a plusFurther informationA stimulating environment helps to find cool solutions to challenging complex requirements.
