Senior Fullstack Engineer (with frontend focus) (f/m/x) – Marketplace Team

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with Frontend focus to join our Marketplace engineering team in Berlin, Munich or Brazil. We value breadth of experience over specialization, and despite the Frontend focus, you will be challenged to build and maintain features from start to finish.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will mentor less experienced engineers.
• You will identify and define technical and product requirements, design development processes (CI/CD), and standards (e.g., for code quality).
• You will lead and support engineering processes in terms of technology screening, architecture design decisions, and actual implementation.
• You will moderate team sessions and guide your team members with your experience to tackle technical and process challenges.
• You will provide technical feedback to your team members in frequent sessions to help them grow.

Your Profile:

• At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering (including Backend and Frontend).
• You have previous experience in coaching and mentoring engineers and/or other technical staff.
• You have a hands-on mentality towards not only technical but also organizational challenges.
• You are a native speaker in TypeScript and familiar with technologies such as Node, NestJS, Angular, and PostgreSQL.
• You have experience with modern SCM, Build & Release Tools (Git, CI, Docker, etc.).
• You have practical experience with agile development frameworks like Scrum or Kanban and tools like JIRA, Confluence.
• You have excellent English communication and relationship-building skills.

Nice to Have:

• Conversational German skills.
• Experience in the automotive industry.
