The Associate Director of Project Management will provide leadership to the Schorndorf Clinical Development and Supply Project Management team ensuring all projects are managed effectively and according to client expectations. This individual will be an active member of the Global Project Management team, participating in global objectives and driving the development of the global project management function. Further, they will be an active member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT) representing Project Management, participating in site decisions and initiatives and striving to meet revenue, metrics and goals. Catalent is committed to a Patient First culture through excellence in quality and compliance, and to the safety of every patient, consumer and Catalent employee.Associate Director, Project Management (M/F/D) The Role:Effectively support, supervise, and monitor performance of Project Management Managers, Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators in the management of assigned projectsEnsure the Project Management staff are trained and developed appropriately to meet the needs of the business and allow individuals to reach their full potentialEnsure the Project Management staff adheres to all G&Os, PM processes tools, and metricsResponsible for ensuring that a safe working environment is maintained for himself/herself and his/her colleagues by observing all safety procedures and working methods, and reading, understanding, and following documents issued or notified to him/herInitiate and manage assigned Project Management budget & provide effective support to teams as required and be the point of escalation for issues that Managers, Senior PMs, PMs, and Coordinators need support to resolveEnsure the Project Management staff supply required information and participate in forecasting, revenue, and S&OP activitiesSupport client visits along with business development and site leadership, and interact with clients related to new and on-going business & represent Global Director PM at Executive meetings as neededOther duties as assignedThe Candidate:Bachelor’s degree in related field with 8 years in client-facing project management, or pharmaceutical environment & 5+ years of experience in managing personnelProject Management Certification preferredIn-depth knowledge of contract development/research, pharmaceutical, biotech industries & proven knowledge of project managementProven leadership with interpersonal, problem solving, presentation, negotiation and facilitation skillsProven success in driving and contributing to a team-oriented environment & ability to prioritize and manage multiple projectsCustomer related experience and excellent client facing skills – desire to exceed customer expectationsProven analytical and communication skills and ability to influence at all levels of organizationFluency in English and GermanAbility to be on site 4-5 days a weekCatalent supports relocation for qualified candidatesCatalent bietet Möglichkeiten, Ihre Karriere voranzutreiben!
