Country Manager

Job Title: Country Manager Logistics & Freight Forwarding

• Location: Germany | Austria | Europe
• Experience Required: 8-15 years
• Reports To: Managing Director, Asia Hub (based overseas)

About Our Client

A global logistics leader headquartered in Asia, our client brings over 30 years of experience in the supply chain industry. They deliver end-to-end solutions, including air and ocean freight forwarding, warehousing, and smart logistics, as a one-stop partner for global trade.

Now expanding into Europe, they’re establishing a new regional hub and seeking a country manager to drive growth, own P&L, and lead market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regional commercial strategy, identifying new business opportunities and expanding market share.
• Build and manage relationships with key clients, carriers, and local partners to drive revenue and service excellence.
• Develop and execute targeted sales plans to achieve growth, market penetration, and revenue goals.
• Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements with ocean/air carriers and agents to ensure competitive positioning.
• Own regional P&L

Qualifications & Requirements

• 8+ years of experience, including managerial roles in logistics or sea freight forwarding industry.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Residency: Must currently reside in Europe
