Overview
In this role you manage monthly payroll with precision and timeliness, ensuring compliance with tax, social security, and company policies. You will serve as the payroll expert for employees, managers, and external partners, supporting accurate master data, document management, and regulatory reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to navigate wage-related matters and maintain data integrity. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Independently process monthly payroll in a timely manner
- Handle payroll-related actions for new hires, terminations, and changes
- Prepare and follow up on payroll matters in compliance with laws and company rules
- Manage social security registrations and deregistrations
- Act as a knowledgeable contact for employees, managers, and external entities on payroll topics
- Coordinate with other departments and external partners (insurance providers, government agencies) on tax and social security matters
- Maintain payroll-related master data and transactions
- Ensure seamless document management and verification of payroll documents
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Completed business apprenticeship or comparable qualification
- Relevant payroll accounting experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of income tax, social security, and labor law
- Knowledge of statutory reporting and certification procedures
- Know-how in calculating allowances, bonuses, non-cash compensation, and variable pay components; familiarity with employer benefits
- Proficiency with standard payroll software (Lodas, DATEV, SAP HCM) or equivalent
- Willingness to stay updated on legal changes and collective bargaining agreements
- Independent, structured work style with reliability and confidentiality
