About the Role

The role involves taking charge of end-to-end on-site management of energy-storage EPC projects, ensuring efficient project delivery in compliance with contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Take charge of end‑to‑end on‑site management of energy‑storage EPC projects, including construction planning, schedule development, on‑site execution and contract closure.
  • Support Procurement and Engineering teams to coordinate internal and external on‑site resources (construction crews, supervision authorities, clients, equipment suppliers, local partners).
  • Manage stakeholder relationships on‑site to guarantee smooth construction progress.
  • Liaise with project teams covering Design, Procurement, Commercial and Operation & Maintenance.
  • Provide professional on‑site management support, resolve technical discrepancies, resource allocation issues and cross‑trade interface conflicts, and drive timely closure of all on‑site issues.
  • Be responsible for on‑site control over schedule, quality, safety and cost.
  • Supervise compliance of construction workmanship, identify and mitigate safety hazards, manage consumption of construction materials, ensure project acceptance and mitigate on‑site risks.
  • Participate in pre‑project site survey and construction feasibility analysis.
  • Develop on‑site construction strategies based on local European construction regulations, site conditions and supply‑chain status, and provide site‑level recommendations for project decision‑making.
  • Compile, review and archive on‑site construction documentation, including daily construction logs, progress reports, hidden‑work records and as‑built documentation.
  • Ensure documents are standard, complete and meet project acceptance criteria.
  • Assist in optimizing the company’s on‑site management system, construction workflows and control standards for energy‑storage EPC projects.
  • Keep track of new industry construction technologies and methodologies to improve on‑site management efficiency and construction standardization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management or related disciplines.
  • Required Skills
  • Can speak German and is highly skilled at communicating with local subcontractors or construction teams.
  • Proven hands‑on background in overseas EPC site management within new‑energy sectors such as energy storage and photovoltaics.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on site‑management experience on overseas energy‑storage / new‑energy EPC projects.
  • Familiar with international construction codes, safety standards and energy‑storage system installation & commissioning workflows.
  • Prior project experience in European markets is preferred.
  • Practical full‑cycle experience in energy‑storage EPC site overall coordination, schedule control, quality‑safety supervision and project handover.
  • Solid expertise in on‑site resource deployment, construction conflict resolution and cost control.
  • Willing to take long‑term overseas assignment.
  • Familiarity with local European construction policies, business culture and labour regulations is preferred.
  • Fluent English (spoken & written) as working language.
  • Capable of independent multi‑party on‑site communication, issuing construction instructions, preparing as‑built documents and cross‑cultural collaboration.
  • Strong capabilities in on‑site overall coordination, emergency response and team management.
  • Clear logical thinking, high execution capability, good at aligning internal and external stakeholders to secure construction milestones.
