The Role We are looking to recruit a technically astute engineering professional with experience in the renewable market to support the growth of the BESS Broadway businesses. The candidate will be responsible for leading grid-related activities and providing technical support to the broader business through the project lifecycle. The candidate will have a proven experience of working with relevant stakeholders, and have the capability and credibility to manage the relationship from technical and grid connection perspective with projects clients, AEMO, TNSP, DNSP, Inverter OEMs, BoP contractors, and external consultants. The role integrates with team members in development, procurement, project delivery, engineering, controls, and construction to put together complex connection solution, optimized plant design, and techno-economic analysis.The candidate will be able to contribute to engineering team at BESS Broadway on the first day. It will be a requirement to hit the ground running and to be comfortable operating at a rapid pace at times with levels of ambiguity and the pressure of deadlines. We expect the successful candidate to have: Lead all aspects related to power system network connection including the connection application and connection agreement negotiations, and support the teams with optimisation from technical and financial perspective to financial close and beyond Support the team during the early-development phase of projects in preliminary design and network connection strategy Engage in commercial and technical grid aspects of EPC, eBoP, and O
