Data Platform Engineer (m/f/x)
About the Role
A leading company in the sporting industry is looking for a Data Platform Engineer to enhance its data infrastructure and ensure scalable, high-performance systems. This role involves working in a collaborative environment, developing robust data solutions, and optimizing cloud-based services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data infrastructure.
- Manage, scale, and optimize AWS services for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Build solutions using Python, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD tools .
- Work with data warehousing, APIs, and automation to improve workflows.
- Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues proactively.
- Collaborate with security and DevOps teams on company-wide initiatives.
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles.
- Strong skills in Python, Linux, GIT, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) .
- Experience with data warehousing, operational data stores, and integration projects .
- Ability to work independently, take ownership , and mentor junior team members.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
