This position is part of the global Food & Beverage Team.
Technical Support and Field Engineer
Location: (Europe) Whether working from home or on-site, flexibility is a top priority for us.
Duration: Long-term contract.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Technical service assessing our customers\‘ labelling equipment, setting up labelling machines, and ensuring customers operate their labelling lines most efficiently.
- Line assessments and qualifying new labelling applications.
- Troubleshooting and solving existing challenges on the lines together with the customers\‘ team.
- Operating various labelling machines (experience with main manufacturers required).
- Training the operators on our customers\‘ line to handle our products properly and operate the labelling equipment in the best possible way.
- Documenting situations at the customer to perform root-cause analysis together with our technical team inside our factory.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with a proven outstanding track record in the packaging industry.
- Available to travel extensively, with a focus on Europe and potential for global assignments.
- Experience with operating and troubleshooting various labelling machines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with customers’ teams.
- Excellent training skills to educate operators on handling products and equipment.
- Ability to document technical situations accurately for internal analysis.
