Head of Product / Product Owner,SaaS for Additive Manufacturing (100%, f/m/d) Spherene AG · Glattbrugg (Zurich), Switzerland · On-site Shape is what you see. Performance is what’s inside. Most engineering software designs the outside of a part. We design what makes it perform: the inside. Spherene is a Swiss deep-tech company that invented ADMS (Adaptive Density Minimal Surfaces), a new class of internal structures for 3D printed parts. Our platform, SphereneNXT, puts this technology in every engineer’s browser. Users generate ADMS, TPMS and beam architectures that make parts lighter, stiffer, flexible, cooler and safer, from concept to printed part, with no installation and no compromise on depth. Our technology has been validated by industrial customers, used daily by 150+ MSc/PhD students and faculties, and is applied by designers and engineers in DfAM worldwide, supported by a growing international reseller network. Simulation is being integrated right now, and the next major innovation is already in the pipeline. The new chapter is about scale, and that’s where you come in. THE ROLE This is not a “manage the backlog” job. As Head of Product, you own SphereneNXT end to end: the vision, the roadmap, and the delivery. You decide what gets built and why, and you make sure it ships. You report directly to the CEO, lead our software development team through sprints, and become the product voice of Spherene with academia, customers, partners and the AM industry. WHAT YOU’LL DO Shape the product Own and communicate the 12–24 month roadmap Turn customer, partner and market input into clear priorities Define the vision across all internal architecture classes and simulation Shape positioning, pricing and go-to-market together with the CEO Represent SphereneNXT with key customers, academia, partners and at industry events Deliver it Own the backlog in Jira (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria) Plan and run sprints, unblock developers, and decide on releases Ensure quality, usability and printability of every release Steer CAD plugin integrations and APIs Be the technical authority The go-to expert on CAD, simulation, internal geometries and metamaterials Validate that new features are physically sound and manufacturable Support technical sales, onboarding and customer application cases WHAT YOU BRING Must have MSc or PhD in mechanical engineering Experience as Product Manager and/or Product Owner at a software company, ideally in DfAM, CAD/CAE or AM software End-to-end AM know-how, from concept, design, simulation and build prep to printed part Solid knowledge of the AM ecosystem: printer OEMs, software vendors, service bureaus, materials and research Agile methods and Jira; good understanding of SaaS development Fluent English Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship, or a valid Swiss work permit; based in Switzerland within commuting distance of Zurich, or willing to relocate to Switzerland Nice to have Focus on AM, metamaterials or lattice structures Hands-on metal and polymer printing experience Computational design or Python scripting SAFe POPM, CSPO or PSPO certification German; an existing network in the AM industry WHY JOIN SPHERENE Build something new: you work on a technology we invented, not a copy of what already exists A true leadership role: you lead the product and the development team, and shape how we build Real ownership: your roadmap, your releases, your product Direct impact: report to the CEO, sit at the table where company decisions are made Perfect timing: proven technology, real customers and global partners, and a platform entering its growth phase Deep tech meets SaaS: engineering depth and software speed in one role Swiss base, global reach: a dynamic, fast-moving team in Zurich working with academia, customers and partners worldwide If you’ve ever looked at a 3D printed part and thought “the real engineering is on the inside,” we should talk. #J-18808-Ljbffr
