h3The Position /h3pJoin a diverse and multi-cultural team of scientists and technicians that make a difference with state-of-the-art analytical technologies and instruments within our expanding Biologic Development Center (BDC) at Celonic Basel. /ppThe bSenior Lab Technician in Analytical Services /b will be responsible for planning and executing analytical experiments, support or lead problem-solving efforts, and coaching junior members of the team. /ppThe ideal candidate will have a high degree of proficiency in U(H)PLC and ceSDS/cIEF methodology and applied other techniques for the characterization of biologics. /ppIn this role, you will execute fit-for-purpose analytical methods that support process development and be responsible for implementing GMP-ready methods and supporting their transfer to Quality Control. /ph3Your Responsibilities /h3ulliResponsible for the preparation and performance of analyses including data evaluation and reporting via result databases and LIMS /liliAssist in the interpretation of results /liliSupport planning and reporting in the analytical focus area /liliSupport in transfer/handover of analytical methods to GMP Quality Control incl. validations /liliRegular review/update/improvement of processes and SOPs /liliCapable of working autonomously and self-disciplined to meet timelines. /liliDrive simple initiatives (in relation to job duties) with limited guidance and supervision within his/her team/group. /liliFollows EHS procedures and laboratory safety standards, maintains a clean and safe workspace, and promptly reports any unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses. /li /ulh3Job Requirements /h3ulliBiological laboratory technician degree (preferred) or BSc in Biotechnology or related field /liliBiotechnology or Pharma industry experience, ideally CDMO setting with a focus on process development and protein analytics (5+ years) /liliProficient in the use of U(H)PLC devices (Waters, Thermo) and applicable software (Empower, Chromeleon) /liliProficient in the use of ceSDS and cIEF incl. devices (Maurice) and applicable software (iCE Compass) /liliExperience in using LIMS for method set up and reporting, ideally STARLIMS /liliMeticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks /liliWell-organized working attitude /liliAbility to work in a fast-paced environment /liliAbility to deal with changes and quickly adjust to new situations /liliCollaborative team player /liliConfident in the use of the English language (German is a plus) /li /ulh3Why Celonic? /h3ulliMake a difference by directly impacting patients lives /liliBiologics is an attractive, high growth sector with professional development /liliOffers a multinational and diverse workplace /liliProud to be a pioneer in “Next Generation” manufacturing technologies /liliFamily owned: Entrepreneurial, and short communication lines /liliBasel is a great place to live, play and work in the center of Europe /li /ulpCelonic is a “Pure Play” Biologics Contract Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO).
