The Team:

You will join our Strategic Pharma / Life Science & Chemical Account Team which is responsible for selling into the largest Pharmaceutical and Chemical enterprises in Germany and Austria.

The Role:

Applying a consultative sales approach, you will create and cultivate relationships to build and maintain customers for life. You will be globally responsible for generating new business opportunities with 1 Strategic Chemical customer. Chemical is one of our strongest verticals with references and use cases of leading international logos. You will collaborate cross functionally to understand the account’s needs and drive the end-to-end sales-cycle.

The work you’ll do:

  • Manage your Strategic Account from an existing customer perspective with the objective to expand our business significantly and position Celonis as Strategic Transformation Partner, land-and-expand is the typical model.
  • Engage cross line-of-business at C-level and below.
  • Represent the entire Celonis suite of solutions with a focus on our sales motions for Finance and Supply Chain.
  • Hold an individual revenue target for closing six to seven-figure deals within your account.
  • Engage closely with partners e.g., consulting firms and SaaS vendors.
  • Drive complex sales cycles through orchestrating virtual teams including business development representatives, marketing managers, partner managers, sales engineers / pre-sales, customer success managers, professional services, implementation partners.

The qualifications you need:

  • Approx. 10 years of total relevant work experience, including 4+ years in Management/Business Process Consulting, with complementary experience in SaaS Sales, In-house Consulting, or similar areas.
  • Proven experience in engaging with stakeholders at C-level (CFO, CPO, COO, etc.) within Large Enterprise Customers.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of core enterprise processes and KPIs such as Finance and Supply Chain as well as other Chemical specific business areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior Line of Business (LOB) stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of the Chemical industry .
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in German (fluent) and English.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast moving, ever changing, high growth environment and approach challenges with positivity, creative thinking, and a growth mindset.
  • Willingness to be collaborative, inclusive, to embrace diversity and to have strong interpersonal skills.
