You will work as "Quality Conformance Manager" (m/w/d) for the Cabin Conformance Management A320 team. You will join the Procurement Cabin commodity division and will be part of the Procurement Cabin back office team for Technical Incoming Inspection.
Your tasks:
- Be the focal point for all interface teams (e.g., Supply Chain Quality Management, Supply Officer, FAL, Logistics, Work package)
- Be responsible for Inspection Planning, digitalization projects, KPIs, Certifying Staff and Customer Presentation
- Create KPI Dashboards in Skywise together with software programmers
- Lead complex problem solving with respect to quality issues and continuous improvement by defining corrective &preventive actions, identifying/facilitating improvement in order to Improve
- Process performance and product conformity
- Process robustness
- Process repetability during product introduction and all along the product life cycle
- Check and validate manufacturing deviations in the Quality approval loop
- Lead Control Plan implementation, follow-up and improvement of a quality control plan Generate and present a consolidated quality & conformance view in front of the final assembly lines and
procurement by following the evolution and resolution of quality findings - Coordinate the PPS (Practical Problem Solving) & SARI (Safety related Item) resolution and improve its governance
- Define methods for Technical Incoming Inspection perimeter
- Ensure planification and execution of operational surveillance
- Implement and maintain an efficient communication with a multidisciplinary and transnational stakeholders (suppliers, procurement, production, logistics)
- Ensure cabin product conformity including documentation stating safe operation for all cabin parts and some cargo work packages released to the FALs, plants, customers and integrators
- Achieve and improve customer satisfaction by securing conformity, airworthiness of delivered products
while ensuring systematic feedback loop with A320 Single Aisle FAL Hamburg - Lead data-driven analysis of inspection findings, associated root causes and derive improvements thereof and provide product quality feedback to supply chain community to ensure continuous update of quality plans and increase right-first time quality
- Carry out the physical technical incoming inspection of cabin parts according to the customer quality requirements in order to record, analyze and characterize deviations
Your profil:
- Master Craftsman inaircraft engineering, computer science, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Work experience in IT/information systems, aerospace, project management, quality management, and supply chain
- Experience in data analysis and AI applications is a plus
- Knowledge of Total Quality Management (problem-solving methods)
- Business- fluent in english and german
- A teamplayer with a "hands-on" mentality who is able to work in a multi-functional environment, collaborative and have good communication skills
- An autonomous, responsible, proactive, solution focused and adaptable to changes way of working
- Organized, well structured, always keep track of your tasks and activities and able to react quickly to changes
- Stress resilient to cope with the fast changing environment
- Clarity, consistency and adaptability of communication styles, besides negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Willingness to travel (max. once per quarter, worldwide)
