Accounting & Tax firm in Dusseldorf is seeking a German-speaking credential Tax Accountant in their international office. Located in the Dusseldorf Office, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of support for clients namely, preparation of financial statements, tax filings, tax audits, and payroll reviews.

LOCATION: Dusseldorf, Germany (After onboarding, hybrid working style or fully work from home)
Credential Tax Accountant Main Responsibilities:
• Preparation of Yearly Financial statements based on German GAAP (Jahresabschluss)
• Tax filings (corporate tax “KSt”, trade tax”GeWSt”, VAT”USt”, individual tax”ESt”)
• Payroll review
• Tax audit support
• Daily advisory
• International tax
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws in Germany
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, and update company policies accordingly
• Collaborate with other members to support clients
• Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation
Credential Tax Accountant Ideal Candidate:
• professional qualification (e.g., Steuerberater/in)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting or a similar role
• Fluency in English and German
• In-depth knowledge of German tax laws and regulations
• Japanese language proficiency is advantageous
