As the Director of Supply Chain Management, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to enhance our supply chain operations. Your primary focus will be on managing the end-to-end supply chain processes, fostering strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, and ensuring effective inventory management. You will play a critical role in streamlining our supply chain, reducing costs, and maximizing operational efficiency, ultimately contributing to the company’s growth and success.

1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
2. Oversee the entire supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
3. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strategic partnerships to ensure quality, cost-effective, and timely delivery of goods and services.
4. Monitor and analyze key supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
5. Optimize inventory management systems to minimize excess stock and eliminate shortages, ensuring optimal levels to support business operations.
6. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including operations, sales, and finance, to align supply chain activities with business needs.
7. Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance their skills and capabilities.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in supply chain management, incorporating innovative solutions to drive efficiency and competitive advantage.
9. Mitigate risks and disruptions in the supply chain, developing and implementing contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
10. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing sustainable practices throughout the supply chain.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
2. Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain management, preferably in the telecommunications or technology industry.
3. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing supply chain strategies to drive operational efficiency and support business growth.
4. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
5. Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
7. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships with suppliers and vendors.
8. Exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing and developing a team.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and levels of the organization.
10. Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
