Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing requests for new cable circuits and modifications to existing ones.
  • Conducting technical studies, including ampacity calculations, cable routing, and material selection.
  • Ensuring compliance of cabling systems with applicable standards, rules, and regulations.
  • Defining project budgets and schedules.
  • Preparing and reviewing project documentation.
  • Participating in project, coordination, and integration meetings.
  • Preparing execution documentation for CERN’s electrical installation contractors.
  • Organising, supervising, and ensuring safety on worksites, involving interactions with contractors and CERN users from other groups and departments.
  • Providing thorough and timely project reporting.
  • Developing quality plans and procedures.

This role includes team supervision responsibilities.
