Join the ATLAS Data Acquisition (DAQ) team and contribute to the modernisation of one of the world's most advanced scientific computing networks. Working alongside experienced network engineers, you will gain hands-on experience in the deployment, testing, operation, and monitoring of a high-availability, multi-terabit-per-second network that underpins the ATLAS experiment, while helping to develop future-proof monitoring and alerting solutions in collaboration with experts across CERN and the LHC experiments.
Your responsibilities
- Participate in the installation, commissioning, testing, and operation of network infrastructure supporting the ATLAS Data Acquisition (DAQ) system.
- Deploy and maintain a production-ready network monitoring and alerting solution for critical DAQ services and equipment.
- Collaborate with experts from other LHC experiments to identify common requirements and contribute to the development of scalable, future-proof monitoring solutions.
- Support the operation and upkeep of the ATLAS TDAQ laboratory, including infrastructure, equipment, and resource management activities.
