CET Connect has a position available for an EHS Lead located in Frankfurt, Germany.
As an EHS Lead, you will oversee the project EHS Team, assisting the project team and implementing and maintaining company management systems for the project duration. The successful EHS Lead will coordinate all EHS matters and report any issues directly to the Project Manager and EHS Manager.
Your role as an EHS Advisor:
- Manage and work closely with the CET Team on the project and direct all functions of their job role on site.
- Engage with the CET Project Manager on work scope look ahead and develop Site Specific RAMS for works scope.
- Engage with the main contractor Safety Team for site mobilization of team members to the project in line with local requirements.
- Ensure CET EHS management systems are implemented and maintained for the project in line with project specific EHS Plans received from PSCS.
- Ensure the project training matrix is up to date and training is in place for all CET team members.
- Coordinate the development of a safe plan of action and permit to work with the CET team on site and main contractor.
- Ensure project PPE is resourced & available and communicated to the Project Manager.
- Provide advice and training in all EHS matters to management, safety representatives, and team members.
- Provide leadership and coordination of the day-to-day EHS requirements of the projects and promote a positive safety culture.
- Attend and provide input at Site meetings, report on work scope EHS risks, trends, and recommend constructive actions towards continuous improvements.
- Review and carry out digital audits, inspections & incident investigation reports, establish corrective and preventive actions to prevent reoccurrence and promote continuous improvements with site team engagement.
- Develop and complete site-specific Toolbox Talks on site aligned with site audits and EHS findings to help promote a positive safety culture and high level of compliance.
- Review documentation within the project cloud safety folder (GA2, GA3, SPA’s, RAMS Sign off’s, Safety Statement Sign Off’s, Inductions, PPE Records, Site Audits, TBT’s, etc.) managed and submitted weekly.
Your Qualifications and Key Criteria:
- Relevant third level Certificate qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety.
- Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation.
- Flexibility in working patterns where necessary.
- Ability to efficiently manage all environmental, health and safety issues on site with the current EHS team.
- Ability to work on own initiative and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills alongside the project manager.
- Previous site experience of 3 years minimum.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Package.
- Remuneration will be in line with qualifications and experience.
- Accommodation and Car Hire supplied.
- Rotation package on offer fly in fly out model.
