Project Manager (Data Centre Telecoms) (CET002)

We are looking for a Project Manager to join us in Frankfurt, either working on a 3&1 rotation from abroad or on normal full-time hours if you’re living locally.
You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of an IT infrastructure project in a hyperscale data centre. You will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure that all project activities are carried out to the highest standard. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across complex, fast-paced environments. You will coordinate with the Client and Contracts Manager regularly to take full ownership of the successful execution of project goals, ensuring all works are completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the full lifecycle of the project, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations on site
• Assist in compiling the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) documentation, including supporting the design team in the production of As‑Built drawings/models by keeping accurate redlines to capture changes/moves
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety
• Interpret project documentation (proposals, blueprints, and specifications) to determine labour, materials, and scheduling requirements
• Coordinate closely with the Contracts Manager, providing regular progress updates and escalating issues as needed
• Manage client expectations by handling RFIs, addressing exceptions, and ensuring all deliverables meet the defined scope and quality benchmarks
• Conduct continuous risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to maintain timelines and budgets
• Lead regular team meetings to address project updates and employee-related matters
• Use project management tools to track project scope, cost, and schedule, ensuring that changes are documented and communicated effectively
• Work alongside the Commercial Department to monitor project profitability and ensure long-term sustainability
• Carry out performance reviews and support employee development in line with company policy
• Perform other related duties as required by the role

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing data centre telecoms installation packages, with a strong focus on high fibre core‑count production networks, including end‑to‑end delivery and integration of high‑density fibre links from construction data centres into live operational DCs.
• Demonstrable knowledge of ribbon fibre splicing and end‑to‑end fibre testing methodologies, including ILM and OTDR testing, interpretation of results, and acceptance against client specifications
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational communication skills
• Ability to lead technically proficient teams, foster a collaborative work environment and deliver under pressure and tight deadlines
• Right to work in the EU is essential
• Hold all relevant site safety training to allow you on site in Sweden
• Experience with MS Office suite (especially Excel) and a range of Project Management/Planning tools
