CGM (Compu Group Medical) is one of the world's leading e-health companies, with more than 8,700 employees across 19 countries and products used in 60 countries.
Its mission is that no one should suffer or die because a medical record was unavailable at the right time and place.
The company builds software solutions for healthcare providers, covering patient management, billing, and all related administrative and clinical processes.
The role
CGM is looking for a Product Manager to take responsibility for its Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) product area, which covers patient admission, service documentation, coding, and billing to health insurers and other payers.
The role combines business understanding, billing expertise, and technical knowledge to ensure that hospital billing, coding, and data-exchange processes run efficiently, securely, and economically.
- What you would do
- Own the ongoing development of RCM products, spanning patient admission, service documentation, coding, and billing to health insurers and other payers.
- Work closely with customers to understand administrative and clinical processes end-to-end, gather requirements, translate them into features, and prioritise them in the product backlog.
- Ensure that regulatory requirements (such as billing rules, data-exchange agreements, and coding guidelines) are correctly and efficiently reflected in the product, including validation logic, reporting, and interfaces to connected systems.
- Define and communicate a clear product vision for the RCM area, conduct regular product reviews with internal and external stakeholders, and develop pricing and go-to-market concepts that balance market requirements with profitability targets.
- Deliver measurable improvements for hospital customers through the features and value you bring to the product.
- What they are looking for
- Several years of professional experience as a product manager or in a comparable role in patient management, billing processes, or hospital information systems.
- Solid understanding of healthcare billing processes (such as DRG, PEPP, EBM, GOÄ) and practical experience with billing and ERP systems, preferably with an SAP background.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex regulatory requirements, identify trends among healthcare providers, and make forward-looking product decisions.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills to bring together requirements from specialist departments, management, and IT, prioritise them clearly, and turn them into workable solutions.
- A completed degree in business informatics, business administration, health economics, medical informatics, or a comparable field.
- Very good German language skills and good English language skills.
- Working arrangements
The role is based in Höxter, Germany, with a hybrid model: two days per week working remotely and three days on-site.
- Pay and benefits
- Access to CGM's in-house Academy and external training partners for professional development.
- On-site health checks and consultations through company health insurance partners.
- Job-bike leasing scheme.
- Employee discounts and benefits through corporate partners.
- Regular internal events, held both on-site and remotely.
