Senior Originator – Renewable Energy & Structured Power About the Company Our client is a energy company with a strong and growing presence across European power markets. We are looking for a person who will build and lead the structured power origination business in Austria. This is a position for someone who can operate independently in the Austrian market while leveraging the full capabilities of major energy company.
The profile We are looking for someone who combines a strong commercial network with a genuine understanding of risk management, trading, and portfolio optimisation and who can structure and negotiate complex, long-term offtake agreements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage relationships with renewable producers (wind, solar, hydro) and local utilities in Austria to source and close long-term offtake agreements (PPAs, structured products)
Structure PPA’s, tailoring solutions to the risk appetite and commercial needs of your clients.
Lead negotiations, coordinating internally with trading, legal, risk, and finance departments.
Your Profile
Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy origination, trading, or structured products, with exposure to the Austrian power market.
An established, trusted network among Austrian developers, IPP’s and local utilities
Track record of originating and closing long-term power offtake agreements or structured energy contracts
Commercially sharp, but analytically grounded: comfortable working with trading desks and risk managers, not just customers
