Overview
As a Senior Business Analyst, you translate client needs into clear software requirements to guide development. You will own multiple customer or system requirements and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive solutions. You’ll document functional and technical designs, validate with stakeholders, and support testing and implementation. You work closely with product managers and developers to ensure user–oriented, compliant outcomes. This role offers the chance to shape the air cargo IT landscape within a globally connected team.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Specify software development requirements to meet client needs and support the development team
- Own multiple customer or system requirements and lead requirements, specification, and development phases
- Support other business analysts and development teams
- Analyze requirements to define suitable enhancement solutions
- Document functional and technical solutions and obtain stakeholder approval
- Define test cases and provide BA acceptance for developments and fixes
- Create business process workflows, UI designs, and mock-ups reflecting user interaction
- Provide business/functional support during development and validate through testing
- Investigate operational problems and support corrective implementations
- Build and maintain test libraries for manual and automated regression testing

- Knowledge of air cargo business and operational processes
- Knowledge of inter-system message formats, rules, and applications
- Excellent written and oral communication in English
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and reporting
- Knowledge of external interfacing systems
- Systematic problem solving under pressure in a small team
- Knowledge in user experience (UX)
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs
- Experience with API testing tools (Swagger, Postman)
- Experience creating API documentation using YAML
- Creatively analytical and able to back ideas with research
- Team player with cross‑functional collaboration with designers, web architects, and clients
- Experience prototyping with wireframing tools (Invision, Marvel, Proto.io, Framer, Axure)
- Knowledge of Agile software development, Scrum, and user story creation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Management
- 4 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Possibility of a criminal record certificate (not a qualification)
